Wet Wednesday meet up

It was dry this morning so Fletch and I managed a decent walk up to the Sea wall. It's been a while since weve been up there. He had his walk a little bit earlier than usual as we'd arranged to meet my brother and sis in law for lunch at Abbey House. .

It was a very pleasant afternoon. The room and tables were decorated for Christmas and although there were people eating in the bar area , the restaurant was empty apart from us. Not good for the hotel but perfect for us as it was quiet and we could chat away without disturbance.  

The food was very good. M had the Christmas dinner! 
We had a bit of a chuckle pulling the crackers. There were no little 'presents ' inside but there was a piece of paper giving health and safety advice on how to pull the cracker safely .. not much point after the cracker had already been pulled. 

As always, the conversation flowed and we had a lovely time. As we walked into the carpark the heavens opened so it was a quick goodbye..
 It will probably be March before we see them again.. Roll on Spring!
