Diary of an Edinburgher

Home again!

The rain in Krakow yesterday changed to a low mist this morning.. In fact, visibility wasn’t far at all. We were so lucky with our weather for our week. And nice to arrive here in bright sunshine. (Won’t mention the bitter wind…)

A smooth journey home - no hiccups. Pretty long queues in security, but all kept moving. And I didn’t have to take my shoes off! We were home by 12.30. Jane, we knew, was off to the ballet about midday, then dinner tonight in town. So Archie was only left on his own for a wee while. He greeted us with quite a lot of excitement.

Nice to be home - Jane has moved out, back round to Abi’s house (her daughter) for her last weekend before heading back to Canada. It’s been great to have her here to get to know Archie first, then to look after him.

We had such a wonderful time in Krakow! Now we need to get over to see a Hazel for a debrief on her Safari/South Africa sojourn.

He really does like his bed now!
