We had a table booked for lunch at The Pig with the EF crew.  I wasn’t sure about going and felt a bit guilty being out and about having fun while No.1 was having another day of treatment.  However she said we should carry on as normal, whatever ‘normal’ is at the moment.  

I did an early BP and home for shower before T&P picked us up as it was their turn to drive.  The rain stopped and we managed a walk around the extensive kitchen garden before going into the restaurant. I spotted these trollies which are used in the garden and would love one - bougie wheelbarrow!   The building and ambience is wonderful, and the food first class.  It was a hit with the crew and I’m sure we’ll be back.

I had a message from my brother who had accompanied No.1 today and he was in awe of her resilience and fortitude - I’ve always been proud of her but the way she is dealing with this is astounding.

Day six
