sweet dumpling

from the market today:
can be used either as a sweet or savoury dish.
the flavour is reminiscent of chestnuts.  
for a pudding, slice off the top, remove seeds and stuff
with a mixture of brown sugar, nuts and grated apple.
bake until soft.


i received an advent calendar in the post today - it was anon - but i suspect it was from my eldest.
