School for Deaf Children, #DeafAwarenessWeek

Most disabled children in poorer countries miss out on school. The Deaf School which we support in Zanzibar employs specially trained teachers. Children learn sign language and develop voactional skills, so that they are not trapped in poverty when they are older. We also provide children with access to hearing aids, surgery and treatment as required.
