Paris

First trip to Paris to see a key customer for a first meeting before an official global supplier day being held on Thursday.

Really good meeting and I was joined by my local sales colleague and her sales director so we went in with the heavy artillery.

In the evening we got a cab into Paris and got dropped off at the arc de triomphe. We then walked down the champs-élysées to a small restaurant where the locals were all watching the France v Australia World Cup match. It was loud as the French hammered the Aussies 4-1.

I tried escargot for the first time. I think I’ll have that garlic taste in my mouth for weeks to come.

Cab back to the hotel stopped off for tourist Stu to get a picture of the Eiffel Tower (see extras).
