Fallen leaf

I enjoyed the camera club meeting last night, it was very informal with presentations by some members - my presentation went off well, it was very short so nothing too difficult to present. One member explained the workflow of an image he took in the summer, from the raw file all the way to it being on the cover of a magazine and it was so interesting seeing how it improved so much with editing, as at the start it was a very pedestrian image, yet it ended up being striking.

Today was sunshine all day - what a change from the horrible weather yesterday. This leaf was lying on our lawn and I liked the early morning sunshine on it. 

I had a good walk with Xena, and then came home and did all the ironing. I was about to go out to get dogfood when I realised that a DHL delivery was on its way to me and I have already missed it twice, so I decided I had better wait in for it. Thankfully it arrived quite quickly. I also went to the garden centre and bought a lovely fresh Christmas wreath, my previous one which I had for many years finally disintegrated last year.

Tonight I have book club - this was postponed from last week when our host was ill. I must quickly make Gavin some supper before I go.
