Levens Park

Blue, bright and sunny all day today.  Wall to wall sunshine.

We went to Levens Hall this morning for a walk around the gardens as the weather was so nice.  Totally forgot that a) it was Sunday and b) to check opening times on their website.  Inevitably, the house and garden were closed but we amused ourselves with a walk in Levens Park instead, and refreshed ourselves with coffee in the Levens Kitchen, which was open, afterwards.

Home to a phone call with No 1 son.  He sounded good and it will be lovely to see him in a few weeks as he didn't get to Langdale last week.

Tea with our neighbours, G&C, and it was a good catch up with them.
