A day of sorting. Why, when there is an empty room, do we look to store all manner or rubbish in it? So now that we are soon to have a 'hoosefa' I need to sort it.

If felt like the right thing to do in the Summer, rip up the carpet to get rid of visiting moths. We would leave it a while to make sure they were gone before replacing the carpet. Needless to say we haven't done that and now have to borrow rugs to stop guests impailing themselves on the carpet and door strip.

Sorting done I wandered to see a friend's nearly daughter in law in 'vanity fair'. This leaf pattern on the ground looked like wallpaper, or stars in the sky it is so uniform.
