Light Saviour

Funny sort of day with grey cloud forming a blanket over Ryedale. Heavy rain over the past few days led to the beck bursting its banks. Although the flood prevention works continues to keep the town flood free.

Last night Richard got a call from his consultant who was still working at 8pm. She wanted to change some of his medications. So this afternoon we drove to York to pick up a new drug.

Diverted past Castle Howard in the hope of picking up a blip. Each year they decorate the house for Christmas. This is one of the gateways on the approach decorated with lights.
