Soft furnishing left to the elements

A fabric sofa left outside, even if not derelict, soon will be. The elements will intrude, more so given the record breaking rainfall we've had this year. Being under a roof won't save it - the wet finds its way into anything that was once dry, through the air. This sofa doesn't stand a chance. 

I took this photo in a street I don't usually walk down and I noticed and liked the relief flower feature around the window arches. Then I saw the same decoration on some houses nearby. One of many architectural niches around these parts.
