Gardens
It was a beautiful morning so I took myself into the garden and did some general tidying; mostly leaf sweeping but also a bit of weeding and cutting back of dead plants. Unfortunately the garden waste bin wasn't emptied this week so there is now a number of bags of cuttings and leaves lined up in the garage. Nothing seems to work seamlessly any more. It's particularly annoying as we pay extra for garden waste removal. I can feel a trip to the dump coming on, the only problem being that waste has to be carried up a set of metal steps and bags lifted up to be tipped into the skips. Needs perhaps must.
This afternoon I persuaded Mr Flossmo to embark on a short walk to the end of the road and back. He is definitely getting some strength back but it's a slow journey. This beautiful gerbera was sitting in someone's front garden so I stole a quick photograph. It's such a stunning colour, especially welcome in mid-November.
