My lovely friend , and the green vase.

She hadn't been to visit here since before lockdown - it was so lovely that she was able to come.
The years have been so tough for her with her with family illness and she herself having a stroke.
When I sent her this photo she said "lovely autum flowers, but who is the old lady ? "

She is a beautiful person with a simple elegant sense of style.
Age brings losses of all kinds, and in these years when covid has impacted so much on our connections , relationships have struggled to thrive.

A reminder to live and savour every moment of the 'ordinary' days.
