J 's birthday

K sent these special chocolates and and interesting book to J for his birthday.
We drove up to the Oyster Bar ,through such beautiful autumnal landscapes, for a celebratory lunch.
I bought a new jacket for J and we chose an interesting deep red witch hazel plant and a nice pot to put it in.
A successful , gentle, low key happy day.
