Mother’s Ruin

Filthy weather today. After a trip to Eshiels, we spent the entire morning at the Hydro. I was very prune look by the time we left and quite tempted by the range of Hydro gins. Home for lunch (mushroom risotto) and then hunkered down with my latest book group book (The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller) and watched the heavy rain fall outside.
