Scaring the Crows

Up early this morning for my volunteering day. My friend and fellow volunteer Janet, came back to mine for lunch and then Mr P and I spent the afternoon tidying up the allotment. I also gathered seeds for planting next spring.
Home to get changed and have food and then I drove to Biggar Library with Carole for an author talk with Maggie O’Farrell. It was a Scottish Book Trust event, organised by the local bookshop in Biggar. Really enjoyed it and looking forward to reading her new book; The Marriage Portrait.
