Proper job

Kilda didn’t settle last night and got us up around 4am to go out, as a result I was up early and out cleaning the guttering around mums house at 8.30am. Managed to get it all cleaned out and some more boxes sorted before heading over to B&Q to get the worktop for mums office. Got to B&Q for 10.15 and found most of what I needed but had to wait 30 minutes for the guy who operated the saw to turn up for work. Came back in time for J’s dad to arrive so we could go out for Sunday lunch. Nice not to be driving so I could have a pint. Pub was OK but not great. Got the top fitted to the cupboards so mum has a desk in the craft room and then started on the shelving unit while watching the Wales v New Zealand game. Looking at how well NZ played I’m not hopeful for next weekend when they play Scotland. Took the dogs for a nice walk along the road at the back of mums which ends up in a field. They had a great time as we could let them off and had fun with lots of ball chasing.
