Highlight of the day

It was raining when we got up, it was raining all the time we were out and it’s still raining now.
Hubby loves being stopped to let a train pass so he was delighted that we were at the front when the lights went red.
Went to Thetford forest and walked in quite heavy rain, even put Hetty’s coat on as it was so wet.
Great place but would have been so much nicer in sun.
Limited menu in cafe but did get a rather good soup and it was dog friendly. Got back and sat and read with fire on, quite cosy.
It’s been an odd week as the place we wanted was fully booked so we took what was available and I think I have been comparing with what we wanted and unfortunately this has not ticked all the boxes, although very nice.
Home tomorrow and baby sitting in the evening, so that will be good.
