"Can you take a picture when I'm dressed a bit more glamorously?"


Gorgeous Elizabeth here was proving extremely difficult to convince for her picture. I saw her passing the Corn Exchange and knew I had to capture her.

Even after I had explained a bit about the project, she was very reluctant and I'm not sure if she was making excuses or just being genuine but she claimed she did not like having her photo taken, and that she didn't feel appropriately dressed for it. I smiled and replied, "If you're not dressed glamorously now then I don't know what that is".

After refusing a few times, she said she'd contact me and I could take her picture then, but I didn't want to let the opportunity go there and then so I said I'd just take the one shot and that seemed to push her to consent.

I asked her if she was always so elegantly dressed and she replied "Yes". I said I'd be happy to take her picture again and asked her to contact me, so let's wait and see :)
