I was a little sceptical I admit

Today's cake recipe is one of the first we've had donated to Traidcraft for the cook book.

It is basically a lemon drizzle cake and I was a bit sceptical about how good it would be. However *slaps self* it was truly delicious. I would go as far as saying one of the best I've ever had and the reason for this is because it isn't made in a loaf tin as is the usual way but in a shallow swiss roll tin. This means that you get a far higher ratio of crunchy lemony topping goodness to cake. It's also a really easy method and one I will definitely be repeating.

If this is an indication of the quality of donated recipes to come I can't wait for more to arrive :)
