Full Fibro Flare

I’m in full flare up now. I could feel it creeping up. I know the signs. Fed up doesn’t even cover it. I feel I’m forever surviving days rather than thriving and living the life I want.

I got up at 8am and was back in bed by 11.30am. I tried to sleep but got up at 2pm as I couldn’t sleep with the pain despite meds and a direct to skin heat patch on my lower back, which I kept on all last night. At least I rested my eyes a bit.

I hate taking meds but have tried all manner of natural remedies, most of which did very little or nothing for my pain.

I had lunch in bed (half a Christmas sandwich and some fruit), next lot of meds and made a coffee and am now admitting defeat and staying in bed for the rest of today with the electric heat pad on (today’s Blip).

I feel and look awful. I’m going to watch River City and some comedies to try and take my mind off the pain.

I hope this flare passes soon as I am getting my hair cut in the next week and need to get my flu jag done too.
