Fresh hell, latest episode....

Had a sudden realisation that I'd better get some un-Xmas-y cards to send out - having gone through the address book and realised how many people are now living bereaved and alone since last year. So made a dash (not really, given the current state of the traffic) to St John's at the West End where they sell cards for good causes. On my way back along Princes St I saw men in hi-viz ushering vast lorries onto the mound - what's this? Oh no, it's the beginning of the set up for the vile Xmas market. Note the metal fencing and the bandage round the poor old tree.....

In the evening we watched the final episode of Frozen Planet 2. Visually fantastic, but very troubling. What a great man Attenborough is.
