Persivere!

A fruitful morning spent raking leaves and planting wildflowers along the WoL. Most of the passing public say nice things and thank us for our efforts, but one asked what we were planting and when I replied 'Native species inc ox-eye daisies, teasel, tansy, primroses, etc....' , he said 'Oh, but dogs will probably dig them up in a few days - you should put poison down'. Good grief. I didn't reply, although I was tempted to say that I thought that dead dog carcases along the walkway would be more of a problem......

Saw a goosander  on my way back looking very smart, just having finished her toilette, almost exactly as I passed the new-ish bit of graffitti - persivere! (Extra) Very Leith.
