Rosemount Park
I worked from home at short notice today and took an early lunch and went for a run. The run was horrible but it allows time to think and ponder. As I ran along the canal, I wondered if the reason I like Linlithgow so much is because of the amount of water in it. We have the canal that goes right through the town (where I took today's photo) and the loch (with the palace). In fact everytime, I run round the loch I feel lucky to live in such a nice place.
I think the places where I have lived close to water are the places where I have been happiest. I don't have to be right beside it but visible from the house or a short stroll away from it.
It was also funny to be running at a time when I don't normally run. It makes a nice change.
