"You can choose your friends...

... as the saying goes!

Laura came with me to my first meeting with the breast cancer surgeon today. What an incredibly complex, detailed and yet reassuring encounter it was. We Had prepared questions and Laura recorded the conversation.

Afterwards Dan and Skylar the cockapoo joined us for lunch (after a long walk on Hampstead Heath). It was so lovely and comforting. They are fantastic friends.

I'm very tired, but this is a good thing. It means my immune system is working!
