The rainbow

Back blip 3

The real start of our 'short break', and time to forget about the possibility of moving house for a few days!

After breakfast, MrM and I did a lovely circular walk straight from the B&B in West Burton. It took us up over some low hills, descending near to Cauldron Falls (extra), the third waterfall we've visited in three days! Lots more water coming down than when we were last there, just over a month ago. On the way a rainbow. Rainbows may be a symbol of hope, but in this case it was a herald of heavy rain, which held off until just before we got back to the van!

In the afternoon a long drive across the country to Cley next the Sea, on the North Norfolk coast, with a brief stop along the way for fish & chips in Sutton Bridge. We're staying again at the Harnser, a lovely friendly B&B run by Ronan and Alan, and looking forward to some dog-therapy with their two French bulldogs, Rocco and Reuben! Arrived just in time for a quick drink in the bar before bed.
