Will&Able
I apologise that I am still behind, but will catch up soon.
It was a nice, but cool, morning as we set off for the Eventfinda Stadium over on the North Shore. We had offered to volunteer on the Will&Able stand at the GoGreen Expo. We purchase Will&Able products because we support their ethos of employing intellectually disabled people and also creating a closed-loop system. We arrived at 9:45am and left at 3:15pm. It was an interesting day and good to be able to spread the word about Will&Able (a play on the words willing and able).

As a footnote to yesterday’s post, Mr MacD had me in fits this morning when he told me that he thought I was going to learn how to set up a wardrobe with shelving and rails and drawers, etc., and wondered why. It hadn’t occurred to him that a capsule wardrobe referred to clothing, not where the clothing was housed.
After leaving the Expo, we drove to our friends from Hong Kong who gained their New Zealand citizenship on the same day as Mr MacD. They live nearby and had invited us for an early supper. We had a most enjoyable time with them and the meal they cooked was delicious. We finally left at 7pm. On the way home we picked up the weekend’s open home signs, and were very pleased to be able to sit down and relax for a while before a reasonably early night.
Unfortunately, I didn’t think to take any photos at the Expo, so my emergency blip is of a darkening sky at sunset.
