A-Z Open Water Swimming …

As a group, 8 of us went to a spa for the day, to celebrate the completion of the challenge; swimming in open water beginning with each letter of the alphabet.

I have never been to a spa before. Not once. So it was all new but so chilled and happy and peaceful and like a days holiday dropped into your life out of nowhere. And it’s such a wonderful group of ladies.

The picture is of a centre piece in one of the many steam rooms. We basically went from pool (outdoor obviously) to one sort of steam room or another and back to the pool and repeated for most of the day, with coffee, lunch and tea stops too.

I wonder when I can go again …. :-)
