Finishing the job

About six months ago I decided that it couldn’t be that difficult to replace two panes of glass in the cellar windows. With a lot of sanding and scraping and measuring and help from my neighbour we got the glass in. However, I never finished sanding the woodwork and painting the window. Today I got up and decided today was going to be the day to finally finish this. This is where I am up to. For some reason, the paint seems very thin, so I reckon it’s going to need three coats. Luckily we have a clear few days, so will just get it finished. For those of you who are perfectionists, it will not be up to your standard, however my theory is that ‘good enough’ is ‘good enough!’
