Ebenezer Scrooge

We had time to kill today before we went into St Chad’s Church for the lunchtime concert, so I was wandering around the churchyard and came across Ebenezer Scrooge’s gravestone. I knew it was here but had forgotten about it. The Christmas Carol film starring Edward Woodward, George Scott etc was filmed in Shrewsbury in 1984 about two weeks before we arrived here.
