Study in Indigo

How about that? A photo NOT taken with my phone. It's also for this week's alphabet challenge, S for Still Life.

A really lovely day. The sunlight was magical shining through the leaves of the silver birch and the rowan.

After Len left for tennis, I took down the bird feeders because I want him to empty them and wash them. I couldn't do it on my own at the moment. The blue salvia looked stunning so I picked a sprig and used it in this photo.

After I'd taken the photo, I simply sat on the settee with the door of the conservatory open on this magical day.
