A piece of public sculpture in Hall Croft where the Friday food market meets in Shepshed. It celebrates Shepshed's role in the wool market for centuries past.

The fishmongers weren't there today. It's Loughborough Fair week so they wouldn't be able to do any trade. Instead, they've gone on holiday.

Coffee at Finkins as usual. Mild enough not to have to wear a coat. Colin came 'roaring' past on his scooter and joined us for a chat.

Afterwards, we travelled to Splash-Out in Coalville to explain that our bathrooms, which Mike and Mal had installed in 2009, needed attention. Tony had been on his own that morning which is why the phone calls hadn't been answered.

We look forward to his visit on Tuesday.
