Sally Mair - Loving life

Face lift!

I bought this cute little dinosaur for Josie before she was born. A local girl, during lockdown set up a little business crocheting little toys, so I commissioned this dinosaur.
It came with me on first visit to Josie. Sadly the stitched eyes came loose , so I've had it lying around waiting to be fixed.
Today was that day, it now has two new eyes and a nose/mouth point, which it didn't have before. Hopefully it will be acceptable.
The high winds continue, but are largely manageable. The temperature rose to 16° this afternoon, highly unseasonable.
Ali, Josie and I did some chasing around today visiting various shops. We bought some rather nice Christmas outfits for Josie while we were at it.
This evening I did some sewing, first a face lift on the dinosaur... Stegosaurus perhaps? Next was repairing some leggings for Ali then for good measure I sewed a button onto my trousers. Got to stay decent I realise or people will talk about me getting on a bit! .
Tomorrow is my annual college reunion. I wonder if there will be any of us still working this year? College closed in 1982, so the last graduates would be at least 61 by now.
My littlest (only, now!) sister will arrive mid afternoon so the rest of the family are going to entertain her till I get home.
