A Pair of Anchors

A dull, grey November day, but at least there was no rain today. On my trip into Plymouth I had time for a walk around Devil's point and back through the Royal William yard. The design of this old iron gate is formed from two interlocking anchors. All very ship-shape and naval!
It's also perhaps a fitting reminder on Armistice Day, of the many servicemen lost at sea,
