Hinchingbrooke Country Park

I was given the job of accompanying the ‘Aspire’ class on a trip to Hinchingbrooke Park. These students have more severe learning disabilities and there were 4 members of staff to 8 students. We split into 2 groups and spent half the day wrapping boxes in Christmas paper for their Santa’s grotto and the other half outside cutting and stripping hazel branches for a craft project they’re doing back at college. It was a good day and they finish at 3 so I was home nice and early.
D and I are home alone so we’re ordering an Indian. It’s 25 years today since we got engaged, a day we’re good at remembering as it’s also Armistice Day.
