Watching You Watching Me
I spotted the young grey hare just before it hunkered down, pretending to be dead leaves among the long grass and wild brunnera in the woodland garden at Archerfield, East Lothian.
It is likely that it is the same individual that I spotted as a leveret on 20th of March this year, but is now an independent free-running young plant destroyer.
Big baby
Grrr! Curse you, natural instinct to say "aahh" at babies of any species.
You've made me let another one get away!
