Shining

Unseasonably warm today…although became increasingly windy until the evening when I was nearly blown over walking along the pavement!
Started the day with a heavy duty Bodypump session…with the instructor who really pushes us all!
Home and a quick shower and chat to A&N who had come round with a small van to collect the last of their stuff including a mattress. They looked tired out and still had to make some trips to the dump with all the packing boxes that they’ve emptied.
I walked fast to MW’s house across town, lovely bright sunny day and Princes St gardens were filling up a poppy garden in advance of Remembrance Day on Sunday. It was so lovely to see her again,  nearly a year since she was so devastatingly ill, but she’s has made a remarkable recovery. We chatted for quite a while and planned some future meet-ups then I had a wander round some shops en route home and managed to get the black jumper I’ve been looking for.
Not home long before it was time to be out again to meet JM to talk over fundraising ideas, then another dash home for catch up with NK and VickyG. I really must get some final decisions made soon about appointments etc.
Spent a lovely evening with the old team….V, C and S. Lots of laughter and chat about what we’re each doing, hilarity about V’s gym exertions, catching up on all the families and growing children, and hearing about work stresses (for the non-retired!).
Nice varied day….took a while to get to sleep
