The power of two

Today, I studied these two lights. 
Sadly, I also studied what seemed like 2,387 more of their brothers and sisters.before lunch time as well.

I've had the same doctor for close to 30 years,  you could say we've "grown up" together.
Unfortunately, he died of cancer just a couple of months ago which meant we have to find another doctor, the other doctors in the practice were already "full".  BC is seriously short of doctors and there are '000's of people trying to find one.
Today we heard that the practice was bringing in another doctor who was inviting patients "to be interviewed"  for acceptance onto the patient roll.
WTF?
Anyway, I have an appointment in 10 days as beggars can't be choosers.
I'd better be on my best behaviour. (I'll get my best suit pressed).


Ah well...
