Bridge this morning. Finally feel as though things are starting to sink in. Could be because I was on the same table as someone who had missed 4 weeks of lessons so really didn’t have a clue! Very brave of her to come back I thought!
Got home and had some lunch and then walked up to the hairdressers. Went for a different colour and am pleased with it. Took a while though as we were faffing about choosing the colour and then lots of discussion with colleagues about how to best mix the colour so as to avoid my grey roots turning burgundy/ dark pink….which I definitely didn’t want. Sun was just setting as I was walking home and I liked the colours in the lit- up shop fronts et with the pink sky.
Got home and rushed to finish sewing and ironing 4 of the top cloths for 4 of my dining chairs. Foolish of me to leave it all until the last minute but fortunately nothing went wrong!
Got 3.5 of the chair seats finished at upholstery class… apart from the bottom cloths. Everything still takes longer than I expect. I am learning to have (more) patience - don’t think it’s a hobby for you to take up D! Am very pleased with them though.
Got home and had a very late dinner and caught up on the final of Handmade . Although I started watching it to have something to talk to my Dad about I’ve really enjoyed it.
