Sally Mair - Loving life

A much nicer morning, the temperature in the car when i came back from church was 14°, what a change. It meant the painters were able to get on with things.
Church first thing today, our usual small friendly community. We had a dig in the cupboard later and unearthed the Advent Crown. I can hardly believe that this is its third Christmas already.
Regular readers may remember that in April our church shed was burned down. Today we finally got a call to say the replacement was being delivered today. I blocked off the part of the car park where it's to go and that's the focus of my blip. You can just see the edge of the concrete ramp at the base of the shed. You can see the remains of the shed in the extra on this link.

I had a kitchen afternoon today! I made a batch of shortbread and another of oatcakes. I used the crumbs from the shortbread on the last of the meringue which I made the other week served with crème fraiche, strawberries and brambles. Delicious!
