Crystal Seeds

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

The sun has come out! It feels like summer is suddenly here!

It has put everyone in a good mood. Especially so Briar who honestly is sunshiney and smiley at the best of times. See this picture of her? That is what Briar is like ALL THE TIME.

She booked me for berry smoothies at a place called The Lab today. And to put the cherry on the berry, she also invited Shenée!

Shenée was HIGH. She was very excited about a new role she's been given at her new work. I was happy for her, but envious of all her new team. 

THEY HAD BETTER APPRECIATE HER!!

(It sounds like they do).

Over smoothies, Shenée told us about crystal seeds which is the latest subject of interest to her. She said that "snow is not just ice" and that it needs something to form around - dust, dirt, any small molecule of non-ice. 

"A crystal seed!" she smiled.

It occurred to me that she is the crystal seed in our little group. The unusual little particle around which we all form something beautiful. 

Then Shenée and I went girly-shopping around girl shops for girl things. It amuses me how much I am one of the girls amongst Ellie, Corrie, Fazzy and Shenée. 

Caro hangs out with the husbands and mocks us. 

And in fact, Shenée is going to organise a "Girl's Night" soon. Naturally I am invited.
