A self appointed busy body

We walked from Churston today, a circular walk in a strong wind. It is a great walk. I have blipped this boat before but it has started to disintegrate. See early 2022 blip https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2925139047036748448
We stopped at the cafe at Lupton House, which has more than one room.
A customer walked through into the next room and as she went through the door she
switched the lights off and said ‘you don’t need those on.’ There were seven of us sitting there plunged into gloom and none of us said anything. Is this a sign of things to come? Bird of the day was a yellowhammer.
