Scots Pine behind a veil of leaves
Hard to see in this photo I know, (it's in the centre) but I've lately been admiring the elegant shape of a single Scots Pine that is growing very tall in a small valley (or fold), between two areas of Upper Reelig Wood. It's trunk is so straight and the tree's silhouette really stands out beautifully against the sky. A slightly clearer view of it in my extra. (It's an elusive thing!)
By the way thankyou to anyone who has stopped by recently and left comments or stars on my last few blips. I'm sorry I'm so slow at replying lately :-(
