Fishing demo

Back blip: Boat ride on Sea of Galilee was the first order of the day after getting up early to get the cases down for transfer to Jerusalem! It was lovely and peaceful to begin with and we had readings to reflect what we were doing. Sang a couple of songs and then the the crew of the boat took over and did a demonstration of fishing both from left and right side of the boat to nil effect!

We then drove to the mount of the beatitudes to see the Berlucci church erected there and the garden which had been burnt to a crisp recently and was being tended to help it recover! Amazingly some of the burnt stumps were regenerating! There were huge numbers of coaches in the car park and the whole place was teeming with different nationality groups and guides.

We went next to St. Peter primacy by the Sea of Galilee, another church and teeming with people!

Having been in the green part of the country we then proceeded through the desert towards Jerusalem via Jericho where we went up a cable car to the mount of temptation I am using this as a diary as it is all beginning to blur into one another!
