Back blip due to patchy wifi
A more relaxed start with breakfast at 8, and then free time until 11-30. Rory and I swam and then went in a walk around the resort board walk not seeing anything but enjoying the jungle, before our 11-30 pick up . We went down to the floating village of SimSim for a boat transfer with 6 others to Abai Lodge where we all got lunch and then the two of us set off on a transfer to Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge, watching the storm come in, arriving about 3:30 in torrential rain. We barely had time to settle in before we were off on an evening cruise.. It was dry by then with no lightning thank goodness. To sum up —hectic monkey activity as they settled down for the night. We saw 5 /6 of the species we could - proboscis, pig tailed macaque, long tailed macaque, langur and red leaf monkey. We also saw lots of different birds and crocodile eyes glinting in the gloom.
Dress code for dinner was sarong
