Cormorant

I struggled in the Heritage Park this morning .... it was so wet and windy and the camera lens kept fogging up despite repeated cleaning.

I managed to get limited shelter under the eaves of the water sport centre where I could keep my eyes on the two pontoons. No geese today but there were plenty of gulls and then in the blink of an eye this young cormorant alighted at the end of one of the pontoons. I waited for a bit hoping for a wing stretch but no luck today ..... I don't think cormorant wings dry in the rain.

Choir Practice tonight and as our concert date approaches fast our remaining practices will be half an hour longer .... hope my voice lasts as some of the pieces are almost too high for me.
