Cheer squad

A very early start this morning to cheer Niki on for her first half marathon at Tatton Park. Not going to lie, being on the cheer squad is far more fun when the sun is shining and it's nice and warm. Today was a combination of rain / wind / cold but thankfully we were able to warm up with a cup of tea at the midway point. Niki did great and smashed her fund-raising total for MND. Hero.

This evening I did something I haven't done for years: popped into Tanners and had a sample of their wines. It's something they do on a Saturday and we used to partake much more regularly when I lived in town. Today I managed to convince Romy to come and join me after work for a quick tasting session (it did not take much convincing). A warm up for the proper Tanners Christmas Wine Tasting event in a couple of weeks.
