Ruined
Glorious day. Unfortunately it was tauntingly out of reach.
I did manage to get out for a run after work and although the sun was a pleasant change it didn't make it any easier. In fact it made it a lot tougher and at the halfway point I was wishing for some rain clouds.
The target tonight was to do a full 10k as a benchmark and with the intention to improve times over the next few weeks in the run up to the EMF 10k. I surprised myself by making it round in a decent time and also realised that my planned route was about half a mile longer than it needed to be. Oh well it proves I can do 10k easily enough. Now just to get quicker.
Tonight it was 6.78 miles in 52:39.
