JERSEY- DAY 2

#We managed to get a ticket for the island coach tour…with Tony. (thanks to the hotel staff using their initiative)
#first stop the Glass Church….with art work from René Lalique, it was built to honour the founder of Boots the chemist.
#Portelet Bay…so beautiful.
The weather was unbelievable for November.
#Coffee stop at St Brelade’s Bay … and an ice cream stroll on the sand watching the surfers.
#time for a pose on the promenade.
Lunch stop at a pearl factory.
#another pose at St Ouen as we look towards Sark, Guernsey, Alderney and Cherbourg.
#Helping hands memorial at Corbiere Lighthouse where a Catamaran hit a rock in 1995 when 300 people were rescued.
#the end of a fabulous tour right round the coastline of Jersey at Grouville Harbour.
Sue, Chrissy and I had a stroll around the town afterwards.
In the evening The Rev and I got a swim, jacuzzi and steam session in….before a very tasty meal of various starters tapas style.
