Hepworth Gallery

A day at the Hepworth Art in Wakefield for the art, lunch and conversation. I have chosen as the main image the scene as we left the gallery as the sun was setting and to feature the sculpture in the boatyard across the river.
The Surrealist painting is included as the exhibition connects with 'Amsterdam', the film we went to see on Wednesday evening, which is about the politics between the wars, growth of fascism and includes strong Surrealist elements. Recommended.
A fulfilling, tiring day.
